Yes. The online live sessions and the self-study component are both designed to fit around an existing professional schedule. The only time you need to be physically present is during the in-person training weeks in Kochi — 5–8 October and 30 November–2 December 2026.
All teachers are native speakers of German from speakeasy Berlin — one of Germany's most established German language schools. They lead both the online live sessions and the in-person training weeks, which take place at the DeutschPro India school in Kochi.
No — each module stands on its own and leads to its own certificate. You can take the Foundation Module (73 UE) alone, the Advanced Module (72 UE) alone (after completing the Foundation Module), or both together for the full 145 UE qualification.
You receive an internationally recognised certificate issued by telc gGmbH after completing the Foundation Module, and a further certificate after the Advanced Module — recognised by authorities, employers, and universities worldwide.
Participants should have at least B2 level German proficiency. The programme involves instruction and discussion conducted in German, in line with how professional teacher training operates in Germany.
